As we have all graduated and this is our last year as a class, we are having a 3day2nights class chalet at the end of the year after our o levels. The chalet would most probably be held at Costa Sands Pasir Ris which would cost $330 for our stay. Please help to decide on the dates which you best prefer by participating in the poll below.

I think we all owe Mr Teo a really huge and sincere apology.
And not just Mr Teo alone.
ALL the teachers.
After what we have done.
It doesn't really matter who went to tell on us, who did the act, who did not, who passed, who failed.
Bottom line is this, we all really terribly disappointed our teachers this time.
Big time.

I don't think we should be pushing the blame to who now.
It just really isn't the time.
We should be thinking, how can we really prove to them we're sincere about our apology and make sure it does not ever happen a second time.
I don't think any of us wants this to happen again.

If you don't know how many teachers we really disappointed, put it simply, all those who have ever taught us for these past 2years I guess.
They are constantly going, grow up, stop playing a fool, don't be so immature.
But when have we ever taken their words seriously.
From last year till now, all we ever did was play a fool, never ever been really serious in our work.
Now, this is the blunder we have made.
And I think the price is too dear to pay.
If we're really sincere, we shouldn't just count on words.
Cause talk is cheap.
Please, show the teachers the bit of Integrity that we have left in us.
This time round, we really have to use our actions to prove them.
Cause action speaks louder than words.

We shouldn't push the blame and just accept our due punishment when it comes.
Please don't give the attitude face and all that nonsense.
Honestly, I think we should all be feeling guilty of ourselves and our actions now.
If you don't, I'm speechless.

We should all really begin a fresh start starting from now.
No more wasting time and playing around.
The O's are this year.
The teachers only wish well for us because they really do care.
Please don't make them give up hope on us.
Cause deep down we all know we really aren't that bad.
Prove to them that we can actually make something of ourselves and not just fools.

And the least we can do tomorrow is to sincerely apologise to Mr Teo.

New Version of EZ-Link Cards

LTA will be replacing the current School Smart Cards (SSCs) with a new type of contactless smart cards, the Contactless E-purse Application Standard or CEPAS cards for all students from Feb 2009.

The mass CEPAS card replacement exercise will be held at our school on Tue, 17 Feb.

The current EZ Link Cards will be collected from you after the morning assembly on 17 Feb.

The LTA team will then proceed to transfer the values from the students' old EZ Link cards to the new CEPAS cards.

The CEPAS cards will be returned to you the same day.

Old EZ Link cards that have problems will be returned to you with the new CEPAS card with an advisory note attached. You will have to to go to any ticket office to do the replacement yourself.

You can only activate the new CEPAS card either on 17 Feb or at any ticket office before they can start using the new CEPAS card.

To ensure the smooth flow of the card replacement exercise, please submit your old EZ Link cards promptly to your Form Teacher

Class BBQ and Class tee

Aloha!Hahas, Joyce here. Just came back from Hawaii. We do have enough funds for a barbeque for your info and laura and is thinking of buying around 60 chicken wings and getting her maid to marinate it for us. So chicken wings settled. For satay, I think we should not buy from bbqwholesale because Ms Sng says it's expensive and Laura says it tastes yucky. So once again, kind Laura is asking her dad for LOBANG for nice and cheap satay. Other than chicken wings and satay, any kind malay classmates willing to sponsor beehoon or some noodles of some sort? Thanks guys! I'm trying to get some of the Chinese guys to sponsor 10bottles of drinks..I've asked Jervis and he has agreed to.

About the class tee, I have came up with some designs in my head but I've not drawn it out yet.I'm seeking advise from you all and if you can, tell me what designs you all want. The initial plan was to get Dillon to do it but as he is not doing anything yet, Laura asked me to do the design instead. If you all want Dillon to do the design, please get him to contact Laura or tag in the class blog. The last time I contacted him in Msn, he told me his handphone was not working. It would be better if some people good in drawing and designing can contact me by SMS to tell me that they are interested in helping out with the design so that it will aid in a faster design uploaded in the classblog.

Last but not least, I was kidding about the Hawaii thing.

The room is on the 3rd floor and there is a lift.
The bbq pit hasn't been booked.
If we want it then we pay $6 on that day itself.
We have to check in on that day only after 3pm and check out the next day before 10am..

For food, we have 2 options, a barbeque or a pot luck.
At most, we have our own food outside or what..
Its your choice now...
So yeah..

Class, I have gone to Aranda Country Club to check the price and available dates for the chalet.

Price per night at Aranda is $280.
The barbeque pit which is a separate price is at $6.
They only available dates which they have left in December is 1, 2, 11, 15, 23.

23 is too close to Christmas so its out.
1 or 2, some of us have dentist appointments in school around noon time.
Left with 11 or 15.. Please take your pick..
Thats all we are left with.
Now its either take it, or leave it.
Otherwise have it next year or what..

Hello people.
I'm on the verge of strangling someone.

Did you not know?
You all have to pay the $17 for the class chalet by 2mr.

Lets take a look at the people who has paid.

7 people, out of what? 38?
( i excluded some people )
And 2 are unable to attend, so it leaves 36 people.
And since we have lesser people that attend, we might even need to pay extra for the class chalet.
Don't complain, we wouldn't have this problem if we went to some place where everyone pay for their own share. Since I and all of you have chosen this, can you all please be responsible enough to pay up by 2mr?

Hello class, I know we have had many discussions on where to go for class outing or where we should organize our class chalet so we had a major discussion just now after LEAP program and we have all come to consensus. Since, majority think that the trip to the zoo is a bit costly and time consuming, we have decided that we shall have a class chalet instead. Just one last, proper class gathering since we're sitting for our big fat O's next year. Most likely at Aranda Country Club. The details are below so yarh, be prepared to fork out 17 bucks.

It's a lot money, but the money is inclusive of food. I stumbled upon this website and I propose we buy our food here as it is Halal certified and the food are well-marinated. CLICK HERE!

Besides the chalet and bbq which will be held at night, we can have some activities organized. Perhaps some games that we can do during our stay at the chalet. We can have some people plan a few games which involves everyone.

How time flies! We've come to the end of the school term and you guys will be moving on to the last phase of your secondary school life - the last quarter of your 4 years. I'm very happy to see how the class has gelled and bonded throughout the past 10months. I believe I have talked alot about academic results the past week, so I shall attempt to not dwell on it too much here!

It has been a joy being your form teacher and EL teacher this year. You all never fail to amaze me and amuse me with your antics. It's great that this livens the class up, but remember, there's a time for everything. A time to be serious, a time to have fun. A time to study, a time to play, so do not steer to either extremes. I see people of potential in this class, so maximise it! Don't put it to waste"

When I spoke to you all about your reults on Thurs, I saw the determination in your eyes to want to do well. That's the tenacity I'm looking for. 3E2, let it not be just lip service or short-term motivation, but let it be your goal for the rest of 2009. Attend the bridging progamme religiously and pay attention. Don't shortchange yourselves! It's the time to ask questions, clarify doubts and seek help.

This is jo, and if you all are wondering where is class outing plan 1, its the trip to the zoo, which most of you disagree.

Therefore, i am taking my time to plan for another one, along with Joyce, Laura.. etc.

We will be having a class chalet instead, since its less expensive, and most of you would rather want.

THE DETAILS ARE UNCONFIRMED.

Venue : Costa Sands/ Aloha?
Time : unconfirmed.
Date : 17 dec 18 dec around that area.

However, you all will need to contribute around a maximum of $10 each(or not) , and we will use the class funds if there are extra expenses.

If you think that a class chalet might be boring, why not we bring some gaming consoles.
There's a TV available if anyone were to bring a Wii, Xbox, Ps2/3.
Portable speakers can also be brought along for music.

I think it will be more appropriate if the malays would bring the food instead?
Since if it were from the Chinese it might not be Halal, agree?

Firstly, I must comment and commend that you all showed great sportsmanship and team spirit during ACES day! I could see that you all were trying your best, and it was quite fun looking at some of you! Also, kudos to Hazwan and Farah for the performances, and of course, the very stunning Ulfah for being one of the emcees for the day. Well done! You all did the class proud!

Finally, I want to thank every single one of you for making this Teacher's Day a very memorable one for me. Thank you for your meaningful cards, the thoughtful gifts, the very innovative and well-designed cloak, belt, wand (??), eyemask and even fingernails!! How can I leave out the beautiful card that was jointly designed and signed by you all and the very sweet video you made!! I was certainly touched when I first saw it. Dear Class,

I hope that you're all getting used to the new term. I just submitted Fabian's SINGA award nomination and I also came across many of you who wrote very nice things about your other classmates and here are some things they said. There are many things, but I'll just pick out the key points and this post will be specially dedicated to the nominees of our class!

Farah (with 6 votes!) --> "She is well-mannered, polite, honest, helpful and kind as she always greets her friends with her smile. She is also helpful as she helps me with my work when I'm in doubt. She is funny at times and approachable."

Hidayah --> "She is well-mannered and I have seen her greeting all the teachers and friends. She helps others when they need it. For example, she helps others in POA and will teach until they get the concept. She is honest, a good example of a class treasurer. She considers the feelings of others before acting."

Ulfah --> "She is helpful and well-mannered. So far, I really haven't seen her being mean to anybody, and she talks to everyone with a smile. She will not hesitate to help a friend in need, and always checks to see if her friends are alright."

Angela Ong --> "She is very caring and has a pleasant smile. She is honest and polite, and never seems to be angry. She is patient and anybody will feel easy with approaching her. She never fails to give a listening ear. She taught me POA without complaining that I was slow or wasting her time and even said that that's what friends are for. She is the one who inspired me to study hard. I feel touched to have a friend like her."

Joyce --> "She is well-mannered and polite to those around her. She is also very helpful and tneds to give a listening ear to whoever is feeling unhappy. She is considerate and thinks of the feelings of others."

Suliana --> "She tries her best to make others feel better. She often helps her classmates with their work and gives suggestions to help resolve matters. She has helped me in some of my subjects and explains some of the difficulties I have."
